Chad Donaldson was a life long resident of the Kansas City, MO area. At the age of 36, Chad was living in Belton, MO--a suburb of Kansas City. He was shot and killed on December 22, 2014 while walking down the street near his home. To date, his case has not been solved. Chad overcame a lot during his relatively short life and his mother has expressed her grief by sharing his story as well as some of the poetry she has written since his death. Writing this poetry as well as this book has been instrumental for her in dealing with her grief.
